MANILA, Philippines - (Updated June 30) The June 2017 Criminologist board exam results or Criminology Licensure Exam (CLE), which includes the alphabetical list of passers, top 10 (topnotchers), top performing school and performance of schools, were officially released online in twelve (12) working days after the exam.
UPDATE: As announced, 5,202 out of 20,819 (24.99%) passed the exams.
The results of examination with respect to four (4) examinees were withheld pending final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examinations.
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board of Criminology administered the board exam on June 11, 12 and 13 (Sunday to Tuesday) in Manila, Zamboanga and all regional offices nationwide.
The members of the Board of Criminology who gave the exam are Hon. Ramil G. Gabao, Chairman; Hon. George O. Fernandez and Hon. Ruben A. Sta. Teresa, Members.

REGISTRATION OF PASSERS
Starting July 13, registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Visit the official website of PRC (www.prc.gov.ph) and follow instructions for initial registration.
Those who will register are required to bring the following:
"The successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals."
The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER, PRC said.
COVERAGE OF EXAM
The recent Criminologist board exam covered the following subjects: criminal jurisprudence, procedure and evidence and law enforcement administration (Day 1), criminalistics, crime detection and investigation (Day 2); and sociology of crimes and ethics and correctional administration (Day 3).
RELEASE OF RESULTS
According to PRC Resolution No. 2016-1019, which deals with the 'Schedule of Licensure Examination for Year 2017', the target release of Criminologist board exam results is on Friday, June 30 or in 12 working days after the exam. However, results may be released ahead of the target or on later date without prior notice.
In the same period last year (April 2016), PRC announced results in eleven (11) working days. A total of 3,928 out of 16,435 (23.90%) passed the exam.
In April 2015 exams, results were officially released in thirteen (13) working days. PRC named 4,337 out of 14,696 (29.51%) who have hurdled the series of tests.
We advise examinees to monitor release of results on the fourth week of June (June 27-30) or in 9 to 12 working days.

TOP PERFORMING SCHOOLS
University of the Cordilleras (UC) is consistently topping the Criminologist licensure exam in the past years. In the October and April 2016 exams, UC dominated the schools, 95.16% and 98.13%, respectively. In the 2015 examinations, UC led the schools having 94.20% and 100% passing rate.
Lipa City Colleges and University of Baguio ranked second and third in the April 2016 CLE. Meanwhile, King's College of the Philippines Inc. - Benguet, Tarlac State University (TSU), Ifugao State University (ISU) and Data Center College of the Philippines - Laoag City are among the top shools in the October 2016 exams.
VERIFICATION OF RATINGS
In few working days after the release of results, all examinees may verify their rating online through the PRC Verification of Rating (VoR) page. Enter the required information - exam name, exam date, application number, name and birthdate, to verify your identity.
