The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Monday, May 29, announced that 3,389 out of 9,645 (35.14%) passed the Certified Public Accountant Licensure Examination or CPA board exam given by the Board of Accountancy in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo and Legaspi this May 2017.

PRC recognized University of San Carlos (USC) as the top performing school as per Commission Resolution No. 2010-547 series of 2010. USC got 94.29% or 66 out 70 passed the exam.
De La Salle University (DLSU) - Manila and Ateneo de Naga University ranked second and third, 85.87 and 80.30-percent respectively.
