In the footage, Cruz was seen wearing a gray jacket and was carrying a black bag.

Cruz was on his way to his first day of work in a food and beverage company in Balayan, Batangas when he suddenly disappeared. He was last seen and heard by his family and girlfriend in the early morning of Thursday.

The 23-year-old alumnus is a licensed chemical engineer who graduated magna cum laude in 2015.

According to his mother Dolores Cruz, she couldn’t think of any reason for Cruz’ sudden disappearance as he has no known enemies. The missing graduate’s family have already put up posters with his photos in various transportation terminals across the metro. They also sought the help of netizens on social media.

In her interview with ABS-CBN News, Baule revealed she received a text message from Cruz at around 3 am and another at 4 am on Thursday, telling her of his location. Cruz told Baule that he traveled from Pasig to a terminal in Taft Avenue in Pasay City, a route he was accustomed to.

“Sabi niya po sa akin maglalakad-lakad po muna siya kasi naghihintay pa 'yung bus ng pasahero,” Baule recounted.

Baule disclosed that she tried to call him at around 7 am and at various times within the day but was unable to do so.

On that same day, Cruz’s sister asked for her brother’s whereabouts as the family was informed by the company that he did not report for work.

People with information leading to the whereabouts of Cruz may reach Dolores Cruz at 09192481855 or contact the Pasay City Police.

March 23 Update: Cruz, who went missing last week, finally returned home, his mother Dolores confirmed to ABS-CBN News. The latter also declined to gave details of what really happened to her son.
