MANILA, Philippines - A man has decided to break his silence and defend himself against a commuter who accused him of harassing her while inside a UV Express van.
A certain Macy Wayne Olazo posted a photo of her and a sleeping man identified as Louie M. Dela Paz and accused the latter of harassing her inside the van. Olazo narrated that Dela Paz sat next to her inside the van and started making sexual advances while they were travelling from Cubao to Marikina.
The lady commuter alleged Dela Paz of repeatedly touching her while pretending to be asleep.
“Signals of a maniac were all alarming from the third time he brushed his right hand on my back. Giving him the benefit of the doubt, I moved forward TWICE (imagine how close I was sa head rest ng upuan sa harp) so that he wouldn’t reach my back anymore. Pero etong si kuya, maparaan talaga. Mas lumalim ang tulog sa bawat usog ko kaya umaabot pa rin yung kamay nya kunwari naalimpungatan sia tapos nahuhulog kamay nya,” Olazo wrote in her Facebook post.
Olazo’s post quickly caught the attention of netizens who slammed Dela Paz for his alleged actions.

Shortly after the post went viral, Dela Paz decided to air his side of the story on Facebook.
According to Dela Paz, he was on his way home from the graveyard shift when the incident occurred. Tired and sleepy, Dela Paz decided to sleep inside the van.
When Olazo alighted the van, Dela Paz heard her saying: “Kuya sa susunod ayus ayusin mo ha.”
Dela Paz later learned from the driver that Olaz claimed he was harassing her.
"Oy minamanyak mo daw yung katabi mo kanina pa,” the driver told Dela Paz.
Later on, Dela Paz chanced upon Olazo’s post and decided to clarify what really happened inside the van. According to Dela Paz, it was impossible for him to make sexual advances as he was sound asleep inside the van.
Dela Paz wrote: “Kumuha ka kaagad kasi ng support sa mga tao. Alam mo naman na may makita lang na ganitong post sa FB walangya magsikumento. So yan. Nasira mo na puri ko. Sumisikat ka pa ngayon. Sorry ate pero di ka man maniwala, gentleman ako HAHA. Di nga seryoso. Alam ng mga kaibigan ko yan. May nanay ako. Bakit ko gagawin sayo yun kung may galang ako sa mga babae?”
