Let’s face it, getting married in the Philippines isn’t exactly a walk in the park. You need to spend time and effort to make sure everything will be perfect on the big day. Details like prenup pictorial, same day edit video, catering, souvenir, reception entertainment, as well as the entourage outfits need to be ironed out. More importantly, you need to save up for the huge expenses the event will entail. In fact, wedding costs in the country normally starts from P300,000 these days.
To save couples from the hassle of wedding planning and preparations, Pag-Ibig Fund will be offering free mass wedding for 100 lucky couples who are Pag-Ibig Fund active or potential members this Valentine’s day. Dubbed as “I Do, I Do, Araw ng Pag-ibig”, the free nationwide mass wedding includes a lot of freebies such as ring for the couple, food for the couple, flowers for the bride, hair and makeup for the bride and a wedding cake for the couple.
On top of these freebies, couples will get a chance to win a house and lot, pangkabuhayan showcase as well as appliances.
But in order to have a chance to tie the knot and walk down the aisle in Pag-Ibig Fund’s sixth annual free mass wedding, new couples or live-in partners who are at least 25 years old must submit the following requirements:
* New couples should submit birth certificates, certificates from the local civil registrar, and certificate of no marriage (CENOMAR), among many others.
