(Updated March 19) For the first time in Asia, ABS-CBN's top-rating reality television singing competition 'The Voice of the Philippines' will have a teen edition which is expected to debut this summer 2017. Aspiring teen artists worldwide, check out on this page for the audition requirements, schedule , venue and other details for the new exciting season.
'The Voice Teens' Philippines, the second teenage edition internationally - after Colombia - was announced during the last week of December last year.
"Kapamilya Teen Artists Worldwide this is your chance for your voices to be heard! Mag-audition na sa Voice Teens!," The Voice ABS-CBN announced on its social media pages.
Auditions are open to teens aged 13 to 17 years old.
The show which is based on "The Voice of Holland" franchise and originally created by Dutch television producer John de Mol features three or four coaches searching for new talented artists. The coaches will only judge the hopeful on her/his vocal talent without prejudice to physical bearing.
Known stages of 'The Voice' franchise are Producers' auditions, Blind auditions, the Battles, and the Live shows.
On this page, we'll discuss more about the producers' auditions, the first stage of the process which are not shown on television (Unseen auditions). The three types of screening includes radio auditions, online auditions and on-ground auditions where the team will travel in and out of the country to find the best of the best to participate in the next set of auditions, "The Blind Auditions."

Process and requirements for the auditions
Based on previous seasons, hopeful may consider below guide to reach your dream blind audition:
1. Wait for official date and venue of 'The Voice audition' in your area.
2. Consider the following requirements for the audition process:

4. Register at the venue. Registration usually lasts for 3 hours.
5. Do your best and show that you got "The Voice" in your open call audition. Note that coaches are not present at the open call audition only the team that screens auditionees.
6. If you passed the open call or pre-screening audition, wait for the next step from ABS-CBN.
'The Voice Teens Philippines' coaches and hosts
ABS-CBN on March 1 revealed the line-up of coaches for the upcoming edition of 'The Voice Teens.' This includes Broadway Diva Lea Salonga, rockstar Bamboo Manalac, Popstar Princess Sarah Geronimo and the Megastar Sharon Cuneta.
Among the expected hosts for the teen edition are Toni Gonzaga or Luis Manzano and Robi Domingo and Alex Gonzaga as V-Reporters.

Since its debut in 2013, the reality show has already produced five champions. This includes Mitoy Yonting, The Voice of the Philippines Season 1; Jason Dy, The Voice of the Philippines Season 2; Lyca Gairanod, The Voice Kids Season 1; Elha Nympha, The Voice Kids Season 2; and Joshua Oliveros, The Voice Kids Season 3.

- Check the age limit in the announcement
- Identification and a copy of birth certificate
- Prepare (2) two songs for your open call audition. You may not perform both but have them ready.
- You must have Filipino ancestry
- Only acapella is allowed at the audition (No background tracks)
- Bring one close up and one full body photo
- Songs can be by any artist and from any genre ( pop, rock, R&B, hip-hop, alternative, latin, country, blues, indie).
