MANILA, Philippines - The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on Wednesday, November 9, that 1,572 out of 3,085 (50.96%) passed the Midwife board exam given by the Board of Midwifery in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga this November 2016.
PRC said that none of the schools was qualified for the top performing list based on Commission Resolution No. 2010-547 series of 2010: WITH 50 OR MORE EXAMINEES AND WITH AT LEAST 80% PASSING PERCENTAGE.
This is same case with the results of licensure exam in the same period last year.

Meanwhile, Maribel Doroja Sabenia of Estenia Science Foundation School (ESFS) - Casiguran, Sorsogon garnered the highest place among the passers with 90.10-percent grade.
The performance of schools in the November 2016 Midwife Licensure Examination in alphabetical order as per R.A. 8981 otherwise known as PRC Modernization Act of 2000 Section 7(m) "To monitor the performance of schools in licensure examinations and publish the results thereof in a newspaper of national circulation" is as follows:
