MANILA, Philippines – Ten-year-old artist from Antipolo City wowed Coach Sharon Cuneta and Lea Salonga in the second week of the Blind Auditions of ABS-CBN's top-rating and Twitter-trending singing competition "The Voice Kids" Philippines Season 3 on Saturday, June 4, 2016.
Yohance Buie sang Rico J. Puno's classic "Macho Gwapito."
Buie said he joined the competition in a hope to meet his father, who's living in California, USA and separated to his mother.
"Hindi po n'ya kayang pumnta dito kasi natatakot siya," he said.
"I like the choice of song but it needs some polish," Coach Bamboo explained why he did not turn for Buie.
"Naalala ko sa yo si Bruno Mars," Cuneta told Buie.
"Ang ganda ng boses mo, naririnig ang spirit. Lumalabas ang pagiging entertainer mo," Salonga has commented.
Buie has picked Cuneta as his mentor for the succeeding rounds.
