Kapamilya star Jessy Mendiola was named the Sexiest Woman in the Philippines, men's magazine FHM officially announced on Thursday, June 30.
"The people have the power to choose who they think belong on the list, and who should be crowned the Sexiest Woman in the Philippines," says Allan Hernandez, FHM editor-in-chief.
The 23-year-old actress, who landed 23rd place last year toppled survey frontrunners Jennylyn Mercado and Nadine Lustre.
Mendiola has proved that that being sexy is beyond physical as she appeared on some of the popular TV shows such as Maria Mercedes and Maalaala Mo Kaya (MMK) of ABS-CBN.
"My body may not be perfect but that will not stop me from being confident with myself," says Mendiola to her social media bashers.
The FHM Sexiest 2016 poll was conducted from April 1 to June 15.
Mendiola is set to dominate the runway in the annual victory party on July 26.
