Madonna’s “Rebel Heart” earned $ 4.9 million last February

Global music artists found a new haven to play their music in the Philippines over the last few years due to unwavering interest of the Filipino crowd in patronizing foreign acts. Madonna's sold-out, two-night concert last February accumulated a total of USD 4,956,105 (PHP 228 million pesos) and was attended by 15,710 people.

The upcoming concerts are expected to rake in millions as Coldplay and of course, U2 which is one of the best-selling touring acts in the world has an extremely loyal fan base in the country.

U2 alone holds a 170 million total of records sold in a career spanning four decades already. The twenty year old Coldplay band has a strong 80 million records sold under its name.
