MANILA, Philippines - The full list of winners for the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) is officially announced Sunday, August 30 (Monday in Manila time) at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. A total of 16 awards were handed out with Kanye West bagged home the most coveted Vanguard Award.
The Video Vanguard Award, also known as the Lifetime Achievement Award, is given to musicians who have made a profound effect on the MTV culture, honoring an artist's body of work.
Meanwhile, American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift garnered the most number of nominations, 10, mostly for her "Bad Blood" video, which is nominated for Video of the Year. Ed Sheeran followed with six and also nominated for Video of the Year award for his "Thinking Out Loud" cover.
