MANILA, Philippines - Actress Melisa 'Melai' Cantiveros was named first-ever grand winner of the hit singing competition 'Your Face Sounds Familiar' in the Grand Showdown results night on Sunday, June 7, 2015 at the Resorts World Manila.
Ultimate impersonator Melai got the highest percentage of public text and online votes, 51.93 percent and will win P2 million, half of which will go to her chosen charity.

The actress who was also the Big Winner of Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) Double Up in 2010 bested other finalists singer Nyoy Volante, King of RNB JayR and singer-actor Edgar Allan 'EA' Guzman who received 24.51, 16.1 and 7.47-percent votes respectively. Runners-up will receive P200,000 each and a trophy.

'Forevermore' loveteam Enrique Gil and Liza Soberano opened the finale show as they sang One Direction's hit "Kiss You."
Host Billy Crawford revealed the real time vote standing as the show opened. Based from the tally, Performer F, A, C and E got 50.82, 25.56, 16.38 and 7.24 percent respectively.
Other contestants of the celebrity music competition also performed on Sunday - Jolina Magdangal as Karen Carpenter (I Won't Last A Day Without You), Maxene Magalona as Nicki Minaj (Super Bass), Tutti Caringal as Bryan Adams (Heaven) and Karla as Gloria Gaynor (I Will Survive)
After the Final Four performances last Saturday, Crawford announced the second season of ''Your Face Sounds Familiar.
The show was first aired on March 14, 2015 in ABS-CBN. Jed Madela, Gary Valenciano, and Sharon Cuneta served as the show's judges dubbed as "The Jury."
"Your Face Sounds Familiar" is produced by Endemol, the same company behind Big Brother and Deal or No Deal.
