MANILA, Philippines - Japanese anime series Princess Sarah is making a comeback via viral memes on social networking sites recently.
Princess Sarah memes are now getting a lot of shares online particularly on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram but the reason why it's currently viral and who's behind are still unknown.
“Sarah, Ang Munting Prinsesa” is based on a children's novel A Little Princess by English playwright and author Frances Hodgson Burnett.
The Tagalized version of the cartoon was aired by ABS-CBN in the early 1990s, a rerun at the beginning of the 21st century and with the spin offs live action film Sarah... Ang Munting Prinsesa and a TV series.
After the spread of Sarah memes, ABS-CBN has announced today that it will rebroadcast the popular anime on October 13, 2014 along with the hit cartoon Marcelino Pan y Vino.
