MANILA, Philippines - Actress-host Anne Curtis has stumbled on It's Showtime stairs during the PINASikat segment of the noontime show on Friday, September 5, 2014.
The incident video is now viral online and has created buzz with #AnneDapa trended worldwide.
Curtis and co-hosts Vhong Navarro, Billy Crawford, and Karylle were joking about rushing to a side of the studio to introduce contestants of Pinasikat.
While Curtis ran up the stairs without a hitch the first few times, 'The Gifted' star was tripped at one point, drawing shrieks from the audience.
Curtis has admitted that she was unhurt in the incident but apparently became the subject of jokes when co-host Kim Atienza brought a medic to attend to her.
"Ayoko! Ang-OA (over-acting) ninyo!" Curtis protested. "Ang OA niyo, wala nang nangyari! Mga Kapamilya, wala po kayong nakita, wala pong nangyari!"
Returning to the same side of the studio later on, Curtis had the audience laughing when she ran up the stairs again, but this time managing to stay on her feet.
Before the program ends, Curtis thanked her followers on Twitter for making the hashtag trend.
