Manila, Philippines - Comedian-endorser Ramon Bautista is now the subject of online conversations after the controversial 'hipon' joke during the Kadayawan Festival in Davao City last Saturday, August 16, 2014.
Bautista has offended Davao officials after he said the city has plenty of sexy but ugly women or known as 'hipon' in local slang.
"Ang daming hipon dito sa Davao, alright, 'hipon, hipon.' ... When I say 'hi,' you say 'pon,'" Bautista joked.

"I am here to say my apologies because sinabi ko na maraming hipon dito. Nahihiya ako sa inyo because you welcomed me in your beautiful city. Nandito po ako lagi at nage-enjoy po ako dito. Para masabi ko ang mga bagay na 'yon na marami sa inyo ang na-offend, I say my sincerest apologies. Sana po ay matanggap niyo," Bautista said.
"Nandito po ako makisaya sa Kadayawan Festival at para maging enjoyable ang gabi ito from the bottom of my heart, sobrang nahihiya po ako sa inyong lahat. Sana ay mapatawad po niyo ako. Mahal ko po kayong lahat. Maraming salamat po. Sana mag-enjoy po tayo. Again, my sincerest apologies. I love you all. Party, party tayo," added Bautista, who was booed by the crowd.

I think the Duterte’s should not meddle in Hipon Rights Violations, and just concentrate on what they’re good at, Human Rights Violations.

Bakit, marami namang hipon sa Davao — as there are vigilante politicians, dipped in garlic butter and seasoned with extrajudicial killings.

I’d like to be Persona Non Grata’d by a feared political family too, hence I declare this: Maraming hipon sa Cavite!

Sana di na lang sila nag-invite ng comedian kung ayaw nila makarinig ng JOKE. It's like inviting a magician pero ayaw naman pala maloko.
