Manila, Philippines - Kris cuts hair short over 'heartache'?
Kapamilya star Kris Aquino on Monday has been the trending topic on microblogging site Twitter after she has debuted her new, short hairstyle during the live telecast of her primetime talk show "Aquino & Abunda Tonight.
Aquino hinted that the change was due to heartache as she was asked by co-host Boy Abunda about her pixie cut, which she said is "the shortest hair since child birth."
On her Instagram account, Aquino posted a quote from French fashion designer Coco Chanel saying "A woman who cuts her hair is about to change her life."
"I cut off more than a foot, so I'm super ready for my life change!", Aquino said.
Aquino confirmed that it meant something is over, to which she replied: "Ayoko na ng heartache, 'yun lang."
The controversial actress on the show's April 7 episode said that she had been dating Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista, after weeks of speculation about their relationship.
However, some reports have revealed that Bautista had yet to separate from his long-time partner, Tates Gana, with whom he has children aged 18 and 10.
