The complete results of December 2013 nursing board exam also known as Nurse Licensure Exam (NLE) is available on this page as the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board of Nursing (BoN) release results in several weeks after the exam.
PRC named 10,977 out of 35,475 new nurses who passed the Nurse Licensure Examination given by the Board of Nursing in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Dagupan, Davao, Iloilo, Laoag, Legazpi, Lucena, Nueva Ecija, Pagadian, Pampanga, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga last December 2013.

More than 35,000 takers from various testing centers in the country took the December 7-8, 2013 NLE. Bulk of the examinees came from the National Capital Region (NCR) with a total of 11,333 followed by Davao with 3,286 and Cebu with 3,150 examinees.
The members of the Board of Nursing who gave examination are Carmencita M. Abaquin, Chairman; Leonila A. Faire, Betty F. Merritt, Perla G. Po, Marco Antonio C. Sto.Tomas, Yolanda C. Arugay and Amelia B. Rosales, Members.
December 2013 NLE covers five (5) major fields on nursing namely: Nursing Practice I (Basic Foundation of Nursing and Professional Nursing Practice), Nursing Practice II (Community Health Nursing and Care of the Mother and Child), Nursing Practice III (Care of Clients with Physiologic and Psychological Alternations - Part A), Nursing Practice IV (Care of Clients with Physiologic and Psychological Alternations - Part B) and Nursing Practice V (Care of Clients with Physiologic and Psychological Alternations - Part C).
Speculations before the release of NLE results:
With reference to the announcement of PRC Baguio, the expected release date of results is within the 4th week of January until the 1st week of February 2014. However, PRC Board News speculates that results will be out around 30 or less than a month total working days. The basis of the assumption of the latter is the total number of examinees and with reference to the previous NLE exam results.
Last December 2012, PRC released results in about 30 working days. Total number of examinees was 49,066 of which 16,908 passed. Meanwhile, June 2013 NLE results are out online in just 24 working days and with 16,219 out of 37,887 who passed the Nurse Licensure Examination.

In December 2012 exam, the following are the top performing schools: Saint Paul University -Tuguegarao, Xavier University, Pamantasan Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM), Saint Paul University-Iloilo, University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao, RTR Medical Foundation, SLU, San Pedro College-Davao, Southern Luzon State University (SLSU-Lucban) and Saint Mary's University.
Meanwhile, the top 10 performing schools list for June 2013 Nurse Licensure Examination (NLE)-nursing board exam includes West Visayas State University-La Paz, Cebu Normal University, University of the Philippines-Manila, Chinese General Hospital Colleges, Benguet State University- La Trinidad, University of Santo Tomas (UST), Trinity University of Asia, Saint Paul University- Dumaguete, Xavier University, Velez College, Cebu City Medical Center and Saint Paul University-Manila
