Manila, Philippines - Roel Manlangit was named Grand Winner of Pilipinas Got Talent Season 4 (PGT 4) in the Grand Finals results night on Sunday, June 2, 2013 held in PAGCOR Grand Theather Paranaque City.
The young singer from Bukidnon garnered 30.22 percentage of votes, a 4-point margin ahead of Frankendal Fabroa which landed on second place. MP3 Band on the other hand secured the third place.
Roel Manlangit received a whopping P2 million cash prize and a talent contract from ABS-CBN.
The winning streak of singers continued on PGT though the judges have been vocal about not having another singer win this year.
Manlangit being a Youtube sensation already reached 2 million views and have a growing number of local and international fans. The young singer is set to rebuild his family's life with his talent.
On Saturday's performance night, Manlangit showed his powerful voice with the rendition of Bamboo’s “Noypi”.
Other acts/performers that proceed to the finals (bottom 3) are D' Intensity Breakers, Lateral Drift Productions and Zilent Overload each to receive P 50,000.
Comedy Queen Ai Ai delas Alas opened the results night by her dazzling peformance.
Jhong Hilario, Zsa Zsa Padilla, KZ Tandingan and Zia Quizon are among the performers on the results night partnered with the grand finalists.
At the very first time, Season 1 to 3 winners Jovit Baldivino, Marcelito Pomoy and Maasinhon Trio performed together on PGT stage. The three past winners are all singers.

The show premiered on February 16, 2013. ABS-CBN's PGT 4 will be replaced by another reality show, The Voice of the Philipines which is set to debut on June 15.
