Season 25th of Survivor USA which is officially called "Survivor: Philippines" will premiere Wednesday, Sept. 19, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS. Filming of the much awaited series is done in Gota Beach, Caramoan Islands, Camarines Sur, a premier tourist destination and favorite location for Survivor francise.
Yesterday, 15 of the 18 castaways were revealed. They include former National League MVP Jeff Kent who played for both the San Francisco Giants and the Los Angeles Dodgers, and “The Facts of Life” star Lisa Whelchel. The remaining three castaways will be former contestants who were medically evacuated from their respective seasons and the names will be announced later.
The castaways will be group into three tribes named after animals in the region: Kalabaw ("Water Buffalo"), Tandang ("Rooster") and Matsing ("Monkey").
