The Department of Tourism released on Monday the TV commercials for the "It's More Fun in the Philippines" campaign, which has relied heavily on social media buzz since its launch in January.
Here are some of the reactions for the release of TVC:
From @idgemendiola: "Seeing the#itsMoreFunInThePhilippines TVC on CNN actually gave me goosebumps. So excited for our country! It's about time!"
From @darellcruz: "good to see this @CNN :))) a big step to promote tourism in the Philippines!"
From @kingdelrosario: "The Philippines going from perceived basket case to prime candidate for an investment boom "
From freedomloverboy via GMA News Online: "Kahit yung pagpalit ng photos hindi man lang sabay sa beat. Grabe. Professional ba gumawa nito or bugoy lang na bumili ng fake na software? I wonder how much the government paid for this."
From funnypinoys via GMA News Online: "With all honesty, hindi po maganda yong ads. Its not really eye-catching to world viewers. How i wish, sinangguni nyo po sa mga advertising agency baka sakali nabigyan kayo ng mas magandang concepts to make your ads really attractive and eye-catching. even the way you captured the photos of our scenic spots that you're trying to reached out turns out to be too ugly. Plssss.... Plsssss... Baka sakali pwede nyo pang mabago yon... Tingnan nyo po yong ads ng Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand sa CNN, BBC, etc... very eye-catching po sa world viewers... Though, we also appreciated the effort of those who made it, pero sana po mas gandahan pa natin para mas madaming foreigners ang pumasok sa bansa natin."
