Makati, the central business district of the Philippines jived for the 2012 New Year's Countdown with the big bang. According to the organizers, it is the comeback of the annual magical and musical celebration of new year in the prime city.
Ayala Avenue, Paseo de Roxas and Makati Avenue were closed to give way to this spectacular event. The stage was set between Shangri-la and The Peninsula along Ayala Avenue and across Makati Ave.
Majority of the party goers were foreigners, those who had chosen to celebrate their new year in Makati.
The opening production was very magical and musical. Jeffrey Tam performed his tricks with participation from the audience.
One of the highlights of the night was the 1 million peso jackpot prize from the games.
Bloom Brothers also performed their hits.
The performance of The Company was also great. Everybody danced with their music. The energy was high as the countdown spectators went wild with the party.
The Dawn was the last performer before the countdown started.
