MANILA, Philippines - (Updated as of 8:00 a.m.) Several local government units announced class suspensions for TODAY, November 10, 2017 (Friday) due to inclement weather brought by tropical storm "Salome."
In a bulletin issued by state weather bureau PAGASA at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, 'Bagyong Salome' has maintained its strength and now off the coast of Zambales-Bataan.
Tropical cyclone warning signal No. 2 (61-120kph expected in 24 hrs) was raised over Bataan and Southern Zambales.
Tropical cyclone warning signal No. 1 (30-60kph expected in 36 hrs) is up in 7 areas: Metro Manila, Bulacan, Pampanga, Cavite, Batangas, rest of Zambales and northern Occidental Mindoro.

"CALABARZON are advised to be alerted against possible flashfloods and landslides," PAGASA said.
