MANILA, Philippines - Filipina Mariel de Leon failed to win the title and enter Final 15 in the Miss International 2017 which was held at the Tokyo Dome City in Japan on Tuesday, November 14.
Candidates from Curacao, Venezuela, Slovakia, United Kingdom, Ghana, Honduras, Japan, Ecuador, Finland, Laos, Indonesia, Panama, Thailand, Australia, and South Africa made it to the Top 15.
A total of 69 contestants battle for the crown in the prestigious pageant.

Meanwhile, De Leon dazzled in the national costume competition as she wore a modern, steel gray Filipiniana dress with an intricate sarimanok headpiece to match.
In the swimwear competition, De Leon stunned the judges with her glittering gold gown.
Before getting the opportunity to represent the country in the Miss International, De Leon has tried two times in the Binibining Pilipinas.
De Leon is the daughter of veteran actors Christopher de Leon and Sandy Andolong.
