MANILA, Philippines - The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) officially announced that 3,882 out of 11,176 (34.74%) passed the Nurse Licensure Examination (NLE) given by the Board of Nursing in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga this June 2017.
It can be observed that provincial schools dominated the top performing schools list with Xavier University (XU) on highest place garnering 100% passing rate or all 60 examinees passed the exam.

West Visayas State University (WVSU)- La Paz and Bicol University (BU) - Legazpi City ranked second and third, with 99.21% and 84.47%, respectively.
University of Pangasinan and Ateneo de Zamboangra complete the 5 highest places.
The list of top schools is in accordance with PRC Commission Resolution No. 2010-547 series of 2010.
