MANILA, Philippines - The Catholic institution University of Santo Tomas (UST) Office for Admissions (OFAD) officially released the UST Entrance Test (USTET) results for Academic Year AY 2017-2018 on Saturday, January 28, 2017. (RELATED: USTET results for AY 2018-2019 out on January 28)
The complete results - list of passers is now available at http://myuste.ust.edu.ph:8888/admission/results.jsp, where examinees can log-in and view if examinee passed the test.
"You can view your USTET results starting January 28, 2017. However, you can only view the results of the strand/program you applied for. The Office for Admissions (OFAD) will no longer provide you with a hard copy of your results," UST said.
"You may download and print your results for presentation purposes during the Confirmation of Enrolment. To facilitate the understanding of your results, it is important that you read everything first before viewing your results," the Catholic school added.
USTET was administered by OFAD in two batches in Manila - September 25 and December 4 and in separate dates for the 37 official testing centers in provincial areas and 10 international testing locations.
Admission in UST is based on applicant's high school academic performance (40 percent of the applicant’s total score) with the remaining 60 percent will come from USTET results.
The premier university added that a second screening is required by the Conservatory of Music in the form of an audition and an artwork rendition for the College of Architecture for those who passed USTET.
Payment of reservation fee for qualified applicants is from January 30 to February 10, 2017. Please check dates indicated in your USTET results. Check out more details here.
The Catholic university advised that due to the implementation of the K-12 program of the Government, offering and canceling of degree programs of the University will depend on the number of qualified applicants in the respective programs.
UST is one of the best education institutions in the Philippines and the largest Catholic University in the World in terms of student population in a single campus. It has the most number of accredited programs according to PACUCOA.
