MANILA, Philippines - For the very first time in Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) history, housemates will be housed outside the country. ABS-CBN has revealed on Tuesday, July 5, that 'PBB: Lucky Season 7' will take place in Vietnam.
"Sa tagal na natin sa ere eh medyo nakabisado na ng mga viewers, ng ating housemates [ang Bahay ni Kuya]," PBB director Laurenti Dyogi said.
"Gusto rin natin ng isang lugar na kahit sa history natin ay may relationship ...There were Vietnamese refugees in Palawan and marami tayong similarities tulad na lang sa prutas at sa temparatura," Dyogi added.
Of the five celebrity housemates that were first revealed McCoy de Leon, Nikko Natividad, Yassi Pressman, Jinri Park and Juan Karlos Labajo, only three made it to Vietnam on July 6.
De Leon, Pressman at Natividad arrived in Ho Chi Minh City on Tuesday while Park, Labajo and Hideo Muraoka encountered problems with immigration process.

It is yet to be announced how long the housemates will be staying in Vietnam.
Vietnam is the easternmost country on the Indochina Peninsula in Southeast Asia. Typical travel time from Manila is about 2 hours and 30 minutes on the plane.
