MANILA, Philippines - Some local government units (LGUs) announced class suspensions for tomorrow, Monday, June 27, 2016 due to the inclement weather brought by 'Bagyong Ambo' in some areas of Luzon.
State weather bureau PAGASA on its 8:00 p.m. bulletin today said that Signal No. 1 is expected in at least 36 hrs) in the following areas of Luzon: Catanduanes, Camarines Norte, Northern Quezon including Polillo Islands, Aurora and Quirino.

Based on Executive Order No. 66, s. 2012, when Signal No. 1 is raised by PAGASA, classes at the pre-school level, in the affected area, shall be automatically cancelled or suspended.
With its current speed, Ambo may exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility on Tuesday. It is also expected that the tropical depression may weaken once it hits land in Aurora Monday morning.

- Baler, Aurora: Pre-school to high school (both private and public)
- Catanduanes: pre-school
- Naga City, Camarines Sur: Pre-school and kindergarten
