MANILA, Philippines- The Universal Reality Combat Championship (URCC) has confirmed that the fight is on between celebrity Baron Geisler and indie actor Kiko Matos.

"Baron Geisler just contacted our match-maker over the phone and says that he wants to settle everything with Kiko Matos inside the cage on URCC Fight Night this coming June 25, 2016 at the Palace Pool Club,” the Philippine-based MMA company wrote on its page.
A day prior to Geisler’s confirmation, Matos informed URCC’s match maker Ronald Catunao that he has accepted the challenge and will start training as soon as Geisler agrees to fight with him.
URCC president and founder Alvin Aguilar decided to invite the two, who got involved in a bar brawl in Quezon City over the weekend, saying this is an opportunity for them to make something good happen out of their altercation.
“If you guys are going to fight in the bar, you guys are both actors, famous personalities now, that doesn’t set a good example for anybody. Why don’t you settle your fight like real Filipino men? You go in the cage, you finish it, after that kamayan, then tapos na,” he said.
According to Aguilar, they will be charging tickets in order to raise funds for a charity.
Since both actors are not professional fighters and have no professional MMA training, both will compete in the pro-am part of the URCC.
Geisler, whose brother Donnie Geisler is a former taekwondo olympian and coach, has a black belt in taekwondo.
