MANILA, Philippines - Global electronics and technology service provider OPPO officially unveiled the R7 Series which comes in two variants, the 5-inch R7 Lite and more powerful 6-inch screened R7 Plus in an event at the EDSA Shangri-La, Mandaluyong City on Tuesday, September 15.
OPPO R7 Plus boasts its magnesium-aluminum unibody design. Powered by 3GB of RAM and the Qualcomm MSM8939 GHz processor, it promises robust performance and with minimal power use. Another great feature is the longer battery life due to its 4100mAH built-in lithium-polymer battery and OPPO's VOOC Flash Charge feature.

"OPPO R7 Lite and R7 Plus have a (high) 91% metallic ratio. These phones are crafted from a single piece of high-strength, aircraft-grade magnesium aluminum alloy," Marton Barcza, OPPO global communications manager said.
R7 Plus also features a touch-type fingerprint sensor technology on its back with corresponding commands such as screen unlock and software encryption on maximum of five fingerprints.
Its camera is coupled with OPPO's first RGBW sensor which offers 32% to 78% noice reduction due to addition of white pixel to usual RGB layout. Camera is equipped also of 0.3 second auto-focus system to capture fast moving objects and scenarios.

Meanwhile, the OPPO R7 Lite has 2GB of RAM and powered by Qualcomm 615 Octa-Core 1.3GHz processor which runs by OPPO's latest OS, the ColorOS 2.1 (based on Android 5.1 Lollipop). The 13MP Schneider-verified rear camera is capable of taking 50MP quality photos with its Ultra HD mode and auto focus system.

OPPO's first local brand ambassador Sarah Geronimo graced the launch event to express her experience with the new smartphones. Geronimo said she used the R7 Lite for a week and was impressed on its fast-charging capability. The Popstar Princess also delivered some powerful performances for the delight of the audience.
The OPPO R7 Series will be available in Lazada, all selling shops and OPPO concept stores and kiosks nationwide with R7 Lite priced at PHP 13,990 and R7 Plus at PHP 21,990.
