MANILA, Philippines - Popular British boyband One Direction sealed the hearts of Filipinos as they performed live at the SM Mall of Asia Concert Grounds in Pasay City on Saturday, March 21 and Day 2 set on Sunday for the On The Road Again Tour 2015.
One Direction gave their fans a night to remember setting aside all the controversies before the show was staged. Though its drizzling out, Filipinos flocked to the venue as they are eager to scream loud and cheer for the band composed of Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Niall Horan, and Louis Tomlinson. Zayn Malik was not able to perform as he had to take a leave due to stress.
"On behalf of all of us, we love the Philippines. We love you and you and you," Harry Styles said.
"It's been a long four and a half years, but we're here now!" Niall Horan said.
The boys opened the show with "Clouds" and performed other hits including "Steal My Girl," "Little Black Dress," "Where Do Broken Hearts Go," "Kiss You," "Ready to Run," "Don't Forget Where You Belong," "One Thing," "You and I" and the most popular "What Makes You Beautiful."
"Best Song Ever" from Midnight Memories closed the first night of #OTRAMNL.
After the first day of concert, Liam Payne gave a message for their fans on Twitter:
