The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on Thursday that 4,123 out of 11,137 passed the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Licensure Examination given by the Board of Accountancy in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi and Lucena this October 2014.

PRC has named the top performing schools in the October 2014 CPA board exam as per Commission Resolution No. 2010-547 series of 2010: WITH 50 OR MORE EXAMINEES AND WITH AT LEAST 80% PASSING PERCENTAGE.
PRC named University of the Philippines - Diliman (UPD) as the top performing school in CPA licensure examination with 100.00 percent passing rate or 90 examinees passed the exam. University of Saint Louis - Tuguegarao (USLT) placed second with 86.76% or 59 out of 68 passed the licensure exams.
