MANILA, Philippines – The biggest names in the showbiz industry gathered in the ABS-CBN's grandest formal affair, the 8th Star Magic Ball on Saturday, September 6, 2014 at the Makati Shangri-La Hotel. Over 200 stars walked down the red carpet.

Teen actress Julia Barretto and Sana Bukas Na Ang Kahapon star Paulo Avelino were named as the Best Dressed Male and Female awardees. Couple of the Night award went to John Lloyd and Angelica. Richard and Gretchen were hailed O+ Stars of The Night. Hawak Kamay lead stars Piolo and Iza were hailed as the Moet and Chandon Fabulous Pair.
Star Magic Ball is an annual treat of the Kapamilya Network to its talents who, dressed in elegant gowns and suits made by renowned local fashion designers, will have the pleasure of spending an evening in splendorous setting with colleagues, friends and the network top brasses.
Star Magic also known as Talent Center is the training and management subsidiary of ABS-CBN. Talents undergo training in acting, personality development and physical enhancement before being cast in the television shows of ABS-CBN and the films of Star Cinema, as well as other film projects.
