The quest for the first ever “The Voice of the Philippines” continues as the top-rating and Twitter-trending singing-reality show stages Third round of Live Shows for the members of each team on Sunday (Sept 8, 2013) at Resorts World Manila, Pasay City.
First four artists will be named that will proceed to the Top 8 circle.
Two (2) artists from the respective teams of Apl de Ap, Sarah Geronimo, Bamboo, at Lea Salonga will face off in the Third Live Shows this weekend. This time, the viewing public and the coaches have an equal say, with the combined percentages of the public votes and the coaches’ scores determining who among them will remain in the competition.
Fighting for their spot in Team Apl are Thor Dulay (“Lately”) and Penelope Matanguihan (“Superstar”), while Maki Ricafort (“Every Breath You Take”) and Morissette Amon (“What About Love”) will battle for Team Sarah.

Representing Team Bamboo are Lee Grane (“Losing My Religion”) and Paolo Onesa (“Skyfall”), and for Team Lea, Darryl Shy (“Balita”) and Mitoy (“Paano”).

Morissette Amon (Team Sarah), Mitoy Yonting (Team Lea), Paolo Onesa (Team Bamboo) and Thor (Team Apl) are Safe and entered Top 8 circle for having 110.41, 104.11, 141.24 and 119.72 total points respectively from the coach and public votes.
Meanwhile, Maki Ricafort (Team Sarah), Darryl Shy (Team Lea), Lee Grane Maranan (Team Bamboo) and Penelope Matanguihan (Team Apl) were eliminated on the competition.
In the finale episode, each team will only be represented by one artist and the winner of the competition will only be decided by the public votes.
