Juvie Pelos is fourth 4-chair turner on The Voice of the Philippines

Juvie Pelos, 21-year old kundiman singer from Surigao City and an employee of a shipping line is the 4th 4-chair turner during the Blind Auditions on The Voice of the Philippines.

Pelos wowed judges for her brave performance of a little-known folk ballad from the play "Uwahig" in June 6, 2013 episode of the hit reality talent search of ABS-CBN.

Bamboo, on his enthusiasm to get Pelos on his team was the first to turn his chair and did a multiple buzz-in.

Sarah Geronimo said that she carried them on another dimension and she is the perfect singer to represent the Philippines.

Meanwhile, coach Lea said that Juvie's performance is "too interesting to ignore".


Netizens reacted that Juvie is a brave girl to try old Philippine music in the singing reality show. Twitter-verse was amazed by her performance. Though during the interview, Juvie said that she is hesitant that judges might not appreciate her choice of music.

The kundiman singer picked her idol Lea Salonga as she said is one of the main reasons for joining the The Voice Ph.

Other 4-chair turners are Thor Dulay, Michaellen Temporada and Don Michael Perez.
