Wireless leaders Smart Communications (Smart) and Globe already released their postpaid plans for Samsung Galaxy S4. The battle for the best offer and data network surely attract early adopters of latest superphone.

Globe was first to announce their postpaid plan. The next generation of Galaxy phone is said to be FREE at Plan 1799 and bundled on 30-month contract based on initial announcement.

Now, for as low as P1,599 monthly, subscribers can avail of the new device under Globe My Super Plan 999 with P600 monthly cashout over a 24-month contract period, Globe said as an update to S4 offering.

Smart, however, on April 25 announced their competitive Samsung Galaxy S4 postpaid plan which is FREE at Unli Data Plan 1500 on 30-month contract period.

Smart best deal is for those who will avail S4 by April 27 to May 2 on participating stores nationwide. It comes with unlimited LTE connectivity and 200 SMS and 150 minutes of calls to all networks. Check out the requirements and other details here.

Smart said that unit will be available on May 2. Beyond the specified promo duration, device will be bundled on Smart Unli Data Plan 2000.

Globe without giving exact figure of LTE sites in the country said they will be firing -up more LTE base stations. Initially, the coverage are concentrated on the customer-targeted areas of Makati, Cebu City and Boracay. LTE infrasture are now also available in the key cities of Metro Manila.

Blistering speed of data browsing is made possible through the use of fiber optic network. Globe said the expansion of fiber connectivity nationwide will support surge on data usage primarily for LTE and HSPA+ networks. Smart which has now a total of 54,000kms of fiber optic cables (FOCs), effectively delivers 4x more infrastructure than it's competitor.
