It's official, Samsung Galaxy Grand is now available in the Philippines! GT-I9082, dual SIM phone is priced at P16, 900 at selected stores like MemoExchange and SM CyberZone at MegaMall according to some reports.
Sun Cellular is now also offering the dual-sim phone FREE on Plan 999. Sun’s Plan 999 comes with unlimited mobile internet, unlimited Sun texts and 4 hours Sun calls along with the handset.
As posted before, the hybrid of Galaxy Note II and Galaxy S3 phablet was launched at Mobile World Congress at Barcelona on February 2013.
Samsung Electronics on Tuesday, December 18 released information for Samsung Galaxy Grand. Samsung said that it is an ideal smartphone for users with fast-paced mobile lifestyles who demand more from their phone. It will run on Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) and will be available in two variants- the Dual SIM version (GT-I9082) and single SIM version (GT-I9080). GT-I9082 will be released first according to the Korean mobile giant.
Initially, the new "big thing" of 2013 will be launched in three carriers at Korea.
In about 2 months after the official launch in Korea, Galaxy Grand is now available in the Philippines and soon to be launched by official telco partner.
Samsung Galaxy Grand which have exactly 5-inch WVGA LCD display screen and 800 x 480 pixels resolution runs on Quad-core processor. Read more about the specs here.
